One Literature Nut: Review: In Love Again by Megan Mulry

For those who have read book two, the instinct is to not like Claire, but we quickly learn that maybe Claire has been emotionally abused and left "hung out to dry" emotionally speaking? I especially liked that after they got together they were together, no lame angst and immature misunderstandings.

She has been left in shambles, but has been taught by her culture to have a stiff upper lip and never show her emotions. Nicely moving and a range of characters that you just don't get tired of.

I didn't quite enjoy this as much as the first two books in the series, as I didn't like Ben too much. Feb 12, Allison rated it it was amazing.

Third book, following the first child and first daughter in the family, this book is a second-chance love story as Claire has left her awful husband and gone to America to start again. Claire is in her late 30's and going through a rather messy and painful divorce.

In Love Again

Heroines who are way closer to 40 than 20 are still not as common as I pove they were: Ben is Lebanese, with a large and close family. Determined to make her life better she takes a few chances. Ben was her first and truly only love and meeting him again was the second best thing next to motherhood that happened in her life.

It would've been great to see him get his comeuppance but Megan mulrj confirmed Lydia will be getting her own book at some point in the future and so maybe I'll get to see him get what he deserves then. Encouraged by her dynamic American sisters-in-law, the shy royal decides to start over in New York City.

And even if he could, Claire's not sure she has megqn courage to contend with how he makes her feel. While Claire is reinventing herself and reinvesting her in family another road easily cleared Ben is just acquiring Claire.

The Marchioness of Wick is about to get a second chance at life It was wonderful to get to know her more. Late in the book Claire becomes quite angry with her sister in law. Knowing Megan's knack for great story telling, I went ahead and splurged on the paperback edition and it was worth it.

The romance was okay, the setup was cute, and it worked out well enough without that stupid "fight then wait a year before making up" plot used in the first two books.
